Band made of bark bast, painted with red and blue color. Similar to item 20608b, the band was presumably worn as a back strap or as decorative band for the upper arm, which was tucked under a coconut ring. The identification of the ornaments is unclear. According to the original catalogue attributed to the "Wemale"

Donated to the museum by "O. Lotichius" (presumably Otto Lotichius) in 1913. Until 02/2025, O. Lotichius was not mentioned and the receipt of the object was recorded as purchase in the database. However, the inventory book clearly indicated a donation by O. Lotichius.
