Description
Headband ("wasikeulu", "wasike" = to nod; "ulu" = head) made of woven leaf strips in light colors, worn over open hair or headscarf. Originally, eight headbands with different patterns and designs existed, but only four have been preserved until today due to war losses. For the other headbands see items 20675, 20677, 20681

Provenance
Donated to the museum by "O. Lotichius" (presumably Otto Lotichius) in 1913. Until 02/2025, O. Lotichius was not mentioned and the receipt of the object was recorded as purchase in the database. However, the inventory book clearly indicated a donation by O. Lotichius.
